If you haven't heard about the Travellin' Pic-Stitch Bloghop, jump over to Quokka Quilts or The Littlest Thistle to read all about it.
Katy and Laura asked if I would put together some sample bundles and I jumped at the chance. Everyone knows I love mixing fabrics!
Below you'll see my bundles and the pics (inset) that inspired the sets.
Viva Las Vegas (inserted image credit)
As soon as Mod Century arrived, I knew I wanted to use the turquoise star print in a bundle. When I saw the famous Las Vegas sign, I knew I had found the perfect fit.
Canyon Storm (inserted image credit)
As a lover of solid sets, I had to include a sample of solids only. For me, this bundle screams "Southwest" and I love it!
Grand Views (inserted image credit)
As a graphic designer, I've always been inspired by color and nothing inspires me more than the use of warm reds and oranges. The bright red in the mountains was the basis for this bundle.
Dam it! (inserted image link)
I couldn't resist the title! (Honest mom, I'm not swearing.)
I love this image with the bold mix of turquoise and orange. I'm totally drawn in! And I'm totally drawn to Mod Century Turquoise Bubbles and Center City Midtown Palm Springs mixed with the oldy-but-goody Hope Valley Pie Basket. Sometimes, the best mixes come from old and new prints. (I don't know about you, but there are some prints I wish could stick around forever.)
Desert Mirage (inserted image credit)
I couldn't stop at just one Vegas bundle. After all, one visit to Vegas is never enough!
The focal point of this set is Jay McCarroll's Center City Downtown Denver (chevron). Lovin' Center City! Jay McCarroll, you rock!!
Lake Tahoe (inserted image credit)
This image stands out among all the desert scenes used in the other bundles. It looks tropical. However, this is an image from Lake Tahoe. If you've ever visited the beautiful lake, you'll agree that the water is really clear . . . not to mention, really cold!
Monument Valley (inserted image credit)
Last by not least is Monument Valley. This is my favorite bundle of all. Again, I used Center City prints and I just love the way they mix with Loulouthi and Kona to create a unique modern-meets-Southwest bundle.
If you're following the Travellin' Pic-Stitch Bloghop, you'll see some of these bundles again. And all of the them will be available at Marmalade Fabrics very soon.
Whether you're following the bloghop or you just love bundles, hop over and check them out.

Wow! Those are amazing combos. And so true to the inspiration. You are an inspiration too Tammy!
