Crosshatch is one of the very latest patterns by Empty Bobbin Sewing Studios.
I got a chance to see the quilt above and it's even more lovely in person.
One of the nice things about Empty Bobbin quilt patterns is that each one comes with instructions for at least 3 different size quilts. I don't know about you but I hate all the math involved in re-sizing a quilt. (I do have friends that can do it with ease and I love them so much!)
And finally some more new Moda Fabrics.
I've been dying to get this! I think it's so fun and would be great for so many projects.
Although most fabrics I stock at Marmalade Fabrics are 100% quilter's weight cotton, the Tape Measure fabric is canvas and would be more appropriate for other fabric crafts. (Just to break the rules, I want to try it for quilt binding - I'll let you know how it turns out.)
Now for the BIG news . . .
The #1 quilting solid with the broadest range of colors is now growing even larger, adding 28 new colors.
Here's your chance to let me know which colors you would put on your shopping list first.
Leave a comment and I'll choose one random person to win 2 yards of any Kona Cotton Solid currently in stock at Marmalade Fabrics. (There's over 150 to choose from.)
I'll choose a winner on Friday so you have plenty of time to pick your favorites.
Watch for all the new colors to arrive in June! I'll be sure to let you know as soon as they arrive!
