A few posts ago I mentioned I was making dumplings using Keyka Lou's tutorial found here.
I only got around to making two. Here's my first finished bag that went to my son's kindergarten teacher for Christmas.
I'm quite embarressed to say that I only completed two during the Christmas holiday. I really do enjoy making them but there's never enough time. I've been keeping them handy to work on during rare spare moments. It's nice to have a little project that you can pick-up anytime without a big fuss. In fact, my second one stores two others in progress.
In case you missed my previous posts, the zippers and zipper pulls are from a great little Etsy shop - Zipit!
I just have to admit that I turned Christmas-green with envy admiration when I read Carla's post. Check it out here to see her dumplings! Many wonderful dumplings! Go Carla!

Love the dumplings - and the fabric xx

Oh me too, me too! I made them, and gave them away. It's such a great pattern. Love the one you made. It's especially nice with that zipper fob. I used ribbon, and it doesn't compare.

Nice!! Love you fabric selections and the fob. I sure wish that I had known about the Zipit etsy shop when I needed zippers!! Thanks for you nice words, Tammy.
